Owned and run by the person who answers the phone
A Bozeman builder since 2012. We cap the year at six to eight houses so the owner prices every job and walks every site, every week.
Why we stay small
I framed houses around Bozeman for eight years before I started Larch & Lintel. The builders I worked for were good, but once they passed twelve or fifteen houses a year, the owner stopped coming to site. Decisions waited. Prices crept.
So we set a cap. Six to eight houses a year, never more. I price every job myself, I'm on every site every week, and you have my cell number from the first walk to the end of the warranty.
That's the whole idea. A fixed price you can plan around, and someone who answers for it.
Jesse VargaOwner and builder
Two things we use on almost every house
Larch / lärch /
Western larch grows in northwest Montana, west of the Divide. It's dense, holds up to snow and sun without stain, and weathers to silver. We use it for siding, decks and soffits.
Lintel / lin-tl /
The beam over a window or door that carries the load above it. In a house full of glass, every big opening has one, and many of ours are timber you can see.
